Speaker Pelosi told us they had to pass Obamacare so we could all find out what was in it. Well, maybe she was referring to finding out about the higher health care costs that are now being forecast as a result of this monstrosity.

President Obama's health care overhaul law will increase the nation's health care tab instead of bringing costs down, government economic forecasters concluded Thursday in a sobering assessment of the sweeping legislation...

But the analysis also found that the law falls short of the president's twin goal of controlling runaway costs. It also warned that Medicare cuts may be unrealistic and unsustainable, driving about 15 percent of hospitals into the red and "possibly jeopardizing access" to care for seniors.

This particular item could be filed in any of several possible categories:

• You don't even need a doctorate in economics to have known that
  
• All you really had to be is a thinking American without blind allegiance to Obama.
  

Of course, we conservatives are not surprised. We never believed the nonsense being pawned by the Democrat leadership.

But I wonder how many independents--maybe even a few Democrats--actually believed the nonsense Obama was peddling? How many will now realize, "Wait, the Republicans weren't lying... So who was lying?"

Recall, Obama did say that that was part of the purpose of his plan:

And just last month he said his plan would lower health care costs by 3000%... I guess not so much.

Everyone needs to highlight this each time health care premiums go up. They were already going up but since Obama passed his health care overhaul, in part, to supposedly lower costs (by as much as $2500 per year!), every premium increase from now until its repeal can be laid squarely on his desk in the "your plan isn't working" bin.
